MAKE MONEY WHILE YOU WELD – 5 TIMES FASTER THAN TIG!
Lightwelder15 is the latest generation in hand held laser welders, with very high efficiency and cooling via a refrigerant heat pump. This makes it truly
portable, reduces maintenance, AND saves on argon and electricity bills compared to TIG. Aluminum welding is a key strength due to our high power
density which is only matched by welders costing twice as much.
UNBEATEN EFFICIENCY, VALUE AND WELDING SPEED
Our portable laser welder, Lightwelder15, has 1500 Watts of output power. It is very similar to the well-known, more expensive competitor, but our laser output has higher power density than their standard and mid range models. This allows us to weld aluminum basically twice as fast, based on videos of their factory technicians.
Lightwelder15’s class leading efficiency means less power consumption, and less heat buildup. This avoids overheating and the premature aging that others can experience. Duty cycle is not a problem, with 100% duty cycle at 100°F (37°C). High efficiency also means it consumes less than 18 Amps at 220V AC, as measured with a current clamp. Competing “1500W” air cooled laser welders use an inferior cooling technology (heat pipes or simple convection) and suffer from a reduced duty cycle in hot weather.
2kW VERSION ALSO AVAILABLE: Also check out our new Lightwelder20, with 2000W output: The world’s most powerful portable laser welder.
The separate wire feeder option is recommended. Many parts can be fused (autogenously welded) but wire feeding allows gap filling, larger fillets, and semi-automated welding due to the gentle pushing controlling the speed..

SAFETY NOTES
- Laser welders are Class IV lasers. They can start fires and burn skin at close range but are also dangerous to the eyes for at least 100 metres, so special safety measures are required. We provide guidance on safety, but because safety is so important our safety acknowledgement must be signed before shipping and using the laser welder.
- You must purchase and use our safety glasses and laser welding helmet with this machine. In any case these are the best value on the market, with high and known protection levels, so you should be using them anyway.
